Our Facilitators have years of operational experience teaching students to put what they’ve learned into action through practical sessions and simulated emergencies. These simulations greatly improve the student’s ability and confidence. Ample manikins & practical equipment available for students to utilize, to ensure everyone gets hands on experience.
First-aid Level 1
First Aid Level 1 training course complies with the requirements for the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Corporate employees will find the Level 1 First Aid training course ideal for assisting them with the management of every day first aid emergencies in their workplace.
The First Aid Level 2 training course is an intermediate course. As Level 2 First Aid is not a requirement of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, it is ideal for any person who is enthusiastic to know more about cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and other lifesaving skills and techniques to be used in an emergency.
First Aid Level 3 is a comprehensive first aid training course. All first aid topics are covered in the Level 3 First Aid training course. This is the ideal first aid training course for persons in hazardous working environments or living in areas where medical care is not readily accessible.
Firefighters play a vital role in workplace safety by responding immediately to fires and other emergencies. Qualifying learners can select and use the appropriate fire fighting equipment to extinguish or control fires in the workplace.
The purpose of an Occupational Health and Safety Representative is to direct attention to safety issues and facilitate communication between the owner, supervisor or manager, and the workers on safety issues. This will help reduce losses resulting from incidents, injuries and occupational illness.
Disinfection Services kill viruses on surfaces or objects. Disinfecting works by using EPA registered chemicals to wet surfaces and allowing contact/dwell time to kill the virus in compliance with CDC guidelines. South Coast Academy has long-term relationships with multiple partners where our disinfectant application programs have been developed.
Distance learning, also known as correspondence education or home study, is a form of education where there is little or no face-to-face interaction between students and their instructors. Distance learning students usually study from home, instead of attending physical classes. We offer multiple course making use of the distant learning platform.
